Middlesex Fells
The large wooded reservation along the town's southern side appears as a broad open area, crossed only by a few roads and trails. It sits beside the busy suburban streets.

关于地图
Stoneham Map Poster & Print
Stoneham is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, about ten miles north of Boston. Its street map follows a familiar New England pattern. Main Street runs north to south through the centre, a town common sits near the middle, and residential streets curve away into neighbourhoods set on low, rocky hills.
To the south, the street grid stops abruptly at the Middlesex Fells Reservation, a large wooded area of trails, ridges and reservoirs. Spot Pond sits on the edge of the Fells, and the Stone Zoo is on its shore. Interstate 93 cuts through the western side of town, and on the map it reads as a broad, confident line.
A Stoneham map poster gets much of its character from that edge. There are dense, winding suburban streets in the north and centre, then the open, irregular shape of the Fells and the water of Spot Pond. The contrast between built-up town and woodland is what makes this map stand out.

Spot Pond
The reservoir on the edge of the Fells has an irregular, island-dotted shoreline. It is one of the most recognisable shapes on the print, with the Stone Zoo nearby.
Town common and Main Street
Main Street and the common form Stoneham's centre. From there, curving residential streets spread over the hills in a loose, organic pattern.
