The shoreline
The coast along the Guimaras Strait forms a long edge on one side of the map, a natural limit that frames the whole neighbourhood.

关于地图
Sumag Map Poster & Print
Sumag is a barangay of Bacolod City, on the northwestern coast of Negros Island in the Western Visayas. It lies south of the city centre, along the shore facing the Guimaras Strait. On a map the coastline forms one clear edge, with the neighbourhood's streets spreading inland from the water.
The layout mixes older roads running parallel to the coast with newer residential subdivisions further inland. Each subdivision has its own short grid or loop of streets. Beyond the built-up area, the flat land of Negros Occidental was long dominated by sugarcane, and the map thins out in that direction.
A Sumag map poster sets a neighbourhood-scale street pattern against the sea. The shoreline gives the composition a strong boundary, and the mix of coastal roads and inland subdivisions shows how Bacolod has spread along the coast. It is a local map, meant for people who know the area by its streets rather than by its landmarks.

Coastal roads
Main roads run roughly parallel to the shore, linking Sumag with central Bacolod to the north and with neighbouring towns to the south.
Subdivisions
Inland, residential subdivisions appear as small self-contained street patterns, each slightly different, added as the city grew.

为什么选 Sumag
一张有意义的地图
For Bacolod families, and for the many Negrenses now living in Manila or overseas, a map of Sumag is a precise way to point to home, down to the barangay rather than just the city.
Edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line to show a street, a family name or a year. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint pairs naturally with a coastal map, and Paper gives a softer, warmer tone.
