关于地图
Taibao Map Poster & Print
Taibao is a city on the Chiayi plain in southwestern Taiwan and serves as the seat of Chiayi County, whose government offices are located here. On a map the city looks relatively new and open, with wide, straight roads laid out across flat land and large parcels of farmland still visible between developed areas.
The Taiwan High Speed Rail station for Chiayi is in Taibao, and its elevated line runs as a long straight stroke across the map. Around the station and the county administrative district, planned blocks and broad avenues create a more spacious pattern than the dense older town centres found elsewhere on the plain.
Taibao is also home to the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum, set within a large park with water features and open lawns. A Taibao map poster captures the character of a place still taking shape, where planned civic districts sit beside long fields and irrigation channels.
