Toki River
The river crosses the city along the valley floor. Bridges stitch its two banks together, and the old centre is gathered close to the water.

关于地图
Tajimi Map Poster & Print
Tajimi occupies a basin in southern Gifu Prefecture, just over the hills from Nagoya. From above, the Toki River runs through the middle of the city, with the station area and older streets gathered on its banks. Housing estates spread up the surrounding slopes in curving terraces, and forested ridges press in close around the built-up valley.
The city is a centre of Mino ware, the ceramics tradition of this part of Gifu, and kilns and pottery workshops have shaped it for centuries. Tajimi is also known across Japan for its summer heat. In 2007 it recorded 40.9 °C, which at the time was the highest temperature measured in the country.
A Tajimi map poster makes the most of this setting. The river draws a clear line across the frame, the railway follows the valley, and the hillside suburbs form loops and cul-de-sacs that contrast with the tighter blocks of the centre. It is a quiet, balanced composition, much like the city itself.

Hillside estates
Residential districts wind up the surrounding slopes in curving streets and dead ends, and these loose patterns stand out against the denser, straighter streets near the station.
Enclosing ridges
Wooded hills surround the basin and leave open, quiet space at the edges of the map, so the valley reads as a clearly defined bowl of streets.

为什么选 Tajimi
一张有意义的地图
Tajimi means something specific to people who grew up there, work in ceramics or commute daily into Nagoya. As wall art it has an understated elegance that sits well beside handmade pottery, wood and other natural materials.
Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name or a date that matters. A free 900 px preview lets you check the result before you buy the $9 HD files.
