关于地图
Tapauá Map Poster & Print
Tapauá lies in the interior of Amazonas state, Brazil, on the Purus river, one of the major tributaries of the Amazon. The municipality covers a vast area of rainforest, and like many towns in the region, it is connected to the rest of the state mainly by river.
From above, the town is a small grid of streets pressed against the riverbank, with the waterfront as its natural centre. The Purus loops broadly through the landscape, accompanied by side channels, oxbow lakes and seasonally flooded forest, all of which change with the rise and fall of the water.
A Tapauá map poster shows a small urban pattern set against a huge natural one. The meanders of the river dominate the page, and the town appears as a compact cluster on its bank. In black and white, the curves of the water create a striking, almost abstract composition.

Riverside grid
The town's streets form a compact grid close to the bank, a small, orderly shape amid the vast forest landscape surrounding it.
Lakes and channels
Side channels and oxbow lakes appear throughout the floodplain, adding looping, irregular water shapes that make the composition distinctive.

为什么选 Tapauá
一张有意义的地图
Tapauá is a place defined by the river and the forest. For people from the town, or those who have worked or travelled on the Purus, a map of it is a strong reminder of a remote and extraordinary setting.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 files include six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF, with no watermark.
