Colonial grid
The centre is laid out in square blocks around a main plaza. It forms a crisp, regular pattern at the heart of the poster.

关于地图
Tarqui Map Poster & Print
Tarqui is a municipality in the department of Huila, in southern Colombia. Huila holds the upper valley of the Magdalena River, the country's main waterway, and is one of Colombia's leading coffee-growing departments. Tarqui shares that landscape of steep, green slopes, farms and small towns linked by winding mountain roads.
The town centre follows the colonial pattern common in Colombia: a regular grid of square blocks arranged around a central plaza. From this compact core, roads leave in several directions and immediately start to bend with the terrain, climbing towards farms and villages or dropping towards the valley.
A Tarqui map poster sets this tidy grid against the rough land around it. The dense square blocks in the centre give way to curving rural roads and open hillside, so the composition shows both the order of the town plan and the shape of the Andean foothills around it.

Mountain roads
The roads out of town twist and bend with the slopes. In black and white they read as fluid, looping lines.
Coffee country
Farms and green hillsides fill the land around Tarqui, in one of Colombia's main coffee regions. They leave broad, open space around the town.

为什么选 Tarqui
一张有意义的地图
Tarqui suits Huilenses who have moved to Bogotá or abroad, coffee lovers who have visited the farms of the region and families with roots in the town. The grid-and-mountain pattern is quietly striking.
You can set the title and subtitle, in Spanish or English, and put a family date in the coordinates line. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
