关于地图
Temerluh Map Poster & Print
Temerluh grew at the confluence of two rivers. The broad Pahang River, the longest in Peninsular Malaysia, is joined here by the Semantan. On a map the two waterways form a strong Y shape, and the town's older streets cluster on the land between them and along the banks. Bridges link the districts across the water, and newer housing areas spread out onto higher ground.
The town is famous in Malaysia for ikan patin, a freshwater catfish from the Pahang River, and is often described as the home of patin dishes. Riverside restaurants and stalls serve it cooked in tempoyak, a fermented durian sauce. Nearby Mentakab forms a twin town, and the East Coast Expressway passes close by, connecting Temerluh with Kuala Lumpur and Kuantan.
A Temerluh map poster is shaped by water. The curves of the two rivers, the long bridges over them and the riverside streets give the composition a natural focus. Plantations and forest on the outskirts appear as open space around the town. For a place so closely tied to its rivers, a minimalist map puts them at the centre.

Crossing bridges
Several bridges span the wide Pahang River and connect the town's neighbourhoods on both sides. They appear as bold straight lines across the water.
Riverside streets
The older commercial streets follow the riverbanks. They are close to the waterfront where patin has long been caught, sold and cooked.
