Crossroads town
Roads meet at the town's centre, where buildings are densest. On the map this core stands out clearly against the open farmland around it.

关于地图
Thākurganj Map Poster & Print
Thākurganj is in Kishanganj district in the far northeast of Bihar, a short distance from the border with Nepal and not far from West Bengal. The land here is very flat, part of the plains below the Himalayan foothills, and on a map the town appears as a compact cluster where roads converge.
Water shapes this landscape. Rivers coming down from the north spread wide across the plain, shifting their channels over the years, and ponds and old channels are scattered through the fields. Around the town the pattern is farmland crossed by roads and rail. Villages sit on slightly higher ground wherever it is available.
A Thākurganj map poster reflects that setting. A dense centre sits at the crossing of routes, with the open plain spreading out around it and the curves of rivers and ponds adding soft shapes. It suits anyone with a connection to this border region who wants a calm, uncluttered picture of home.

River plain
Rivers and old channels cross the flat land nearby. Their broad, wandering shapes are the most expressive features in the outer parts of the print.
Near the border
Thākurganj is close to Nepal, and routes from town lead toward the frontier. The map shows how the town sits between regions.

为什么选 Thākurganj
一张有意义的地图
Thākurganj connects Bihar, Bengal and Nepal, and many who grew up here have moved on to bigger cities. A map of the town is a personal, understated way to keep that place present in a new home.
