关于地图
Tours Map Poster & Print
Tours occupies a band of land between two rivers: the wide Loire to the north and the Cher to the south, which run almost parallel before meeting downstream. On a map the city fills the space between them, and bridges stitch it to the districts on each bank. The Loire, with its islands and sandbanks, gives the top of the drawing a broad, calm edge.
A straight avenue, the Rue Nationale, runs south from the Pont Wilson across the old town, one of the clearest lines on the page. To its west lies Vieux Tours around the Place Plumereau, a tight grid of medieval lanes; to the east, the cathedral of Saint-Gatien stands near the river. Tours is also the city of Saint Martin, whose basilica remains a place of pilgrimage.
A Tours map poster shows how carefully this city fits its site, with the rivers setting firm limits and the streets arranged between them. It sits in the Loire Valley, listed by UNESCO, and the print makes a fitting reminder of a region of rivers, bridges and châteaux.

Rue Nationale axis
The straight avenue leading from the Pont Wilson through the centre gives the map a clear spine, cutting across the older, irregular streets on either side.
Vieux Tours lanes
Around the Place Plumereau, the medieval quarter shows up as a dense cluster of short, narrow streets, the finest-grained texture anywhere on the print.

为什么选 Tours
一张有意义的地图
Students, former residents and travellers through the Loire Valley often keep a strong memory of Tours: the bridges, the evening squares, the walk along the river. This map puts that geography on the wall.
Add a personal title, a date or a line about your time there, and edit the coordinates if you like. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, then download the files for $9 or order a matte print.
