Toyokawa River
The river curves past the castle park and the city centre before widening toward Mikawa Bay. It is the main line of movement across the map.

关于地图
Toyohashi Map Poster & Print
Toyohashi lies in eastern Aichi, where the Toyokawa River reaches Mikawa Bay. On a map the city fans out from the river's south bank. The site of Yoshida Castle stands beside the water, and the central district spreads toward the station. To the south the land runs across to the open Pacific coast, so the city touches two very different shorelines.
The city has long been a transport hub. It stands on the old Tōkaidō route, and today Shinkansen trains stop at Toyohashi Station. A streetcar line still runs through the centre, one of the relatively few tram systems left in Japan, and its route can be traced along the main avenues. The port on the bay handles large numbers of imported cars.
A Toyohashi map poster balances these layers neatly. The river gives a strong diagonal, and the reclaimed port land along the bay adds long straight edges and large blocks. The residential areas fill in with the fine, dense street pattern typical of Japanese cities. Farmland on the fringes leaves open patches that keep the print from feeling crowded.

Yoshida Castle park
The castle grounds on the riverbank form a green space at the edge of the centre, a quiet open shape among close-set streets and the tram route nearby.
Bayfront port land
Along Mikawa Bay, reclaimed industrial land creates geometric piers and basins. Their straight edges contrast with the natural coastline and the finer residential grid further inland.

为什么选 Toyohashi
一张有意义的地图
For someone who studied, worked or grew up in Toyohashi, the map brings back daily routes: the tram along the avenue, the river crossings, the walk to the station. You can put a family name or a date in the title and subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line to mark a particular place.
The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits the port's engineered edges. For $9 you receive six print sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF without watermark. A free 900 px preview lets you check the framing first.
