Canal lattice
Straight canals and channels cross the district in a regular pattern, and the town's streets and houses follow them, making water the organising line of the whole map.

关于地图
Trần Văn Thời Map Poster & Print
Trần Văn Thời is the main town of a district in Cà Mau, the southernmost province of Vietnam, at the tip of the Mekong Delta. The land here is flat, low and saturated with water, and the town's map is organised by canals as much as by streets, with houses lining the banks in long, narrow ribbons.
The district takes its name from Trần Văn Thời, a revolutionary from the region, and stretches toward the Gulf of Thailand coast to the west. Part of the U Minh Hạ melaleuca forest lies within it, and the surrounding countryside is a dense grid of shrimp ponds, rice paddies and drainage channels cut in straight lines.
A Trần Văn Thời map poster reads almost like a technical drawing: parallel canals, crossing channels and rectangular ponds form a precise lattice, with the town itself as a thicker knot where waterways meet. It is a landscape shaped entirely by people and water, and in black and white its geometry becomes surprisingly graphic.

Pond grids
Shrimp and fish ponds cover much of the surrounding land in neat rectangles, producing a dense, repeating texture at the edges of the composition.
Melaleuca forest
Part of the U Minh Hạ forest, a wetland of melaleuca trees and peat, lies in the district, appearing as a large unbroken area among the canals.

为什么选 Trần Văn Thời
一张有意义的地图
For families from Cà Mau, the canals of Trần Văn Thời are the routes of daily life, travelled by boat as often as by road. A map of the town keeps that watery world visible wherever they have moved.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a name, a date or a short phrase, and adjust the coordinates line. Blueprint suits the canal grid, and Classic black & white, Noir, Paper and Sand are also available.
