Switchback roads
Access roads curl back and forth across the slope to reach estates at different heights. In black and white, their loops form one of the most distinctive patterns on the sheet.

关于地图
Tsz Wan Shan Map Poster & Print
Tsz Wan Shan lies in the northern part of Kowloon, inside Wong Tai Sin District, where the city meets the hills. From above it looks nothing like a grid. Roads loop and zigzag up the slope, and large public housing estates sit on flattened platforms cut into the hillside. Beyond the last buildings, the map gives way almost at once to green, unbuilt ridges.
The neighbourhood is mostly residential and built at high density. Tall estate blocks are grouped around podiums, playgrounds and small parks, with footpaths and stairways linking one level to the next. Seen on a map, these clusters look like separate islands of buildings. Access roads thread between them and drop down towards the flatter streets of central Kowloon.
A Tsz Wan Shan map poster captures this place where Hong Kong's dense housing meets its country parks. Contour-hugging roads, stepped estates and the sudden edge of the hills produce a layout that is both organised and organic. The map is dense at the bottom and open at the top, which sums up this corner of Kowloon well.

Estate platforms
Large housing estates occupy terraces cut into the hillside. Each shows up as a compact group of blocks with courtyards and podiums, set apart from its neighbours by roads and green slopes.
Hillside edge
Above the highest buildings, the street network stops and open hillside takes over. That sharp boundary between city and ridge gives the map its strong upper edge.

为什么选 Tsz Wan Shan
一张有意义的地图
For people who grew up in one of its estates, or still visit family there, this map holds a very specific geography of stairways, bus stops and hillside paths. It also works simply as a striking study of how Hong Kong builds on steep ground.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with an estate name or a move-in year. Pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy the HD files for $9, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
