关于地图
Tucano Map Poster & Print
Tucano lies in northeastern Bahia, in the semi-arid interior known as the sertão, where caatinga scrub covers much of the land and water is precious. The town sits on gently rolling terrain. From above, its streets form a compact, loosely regular pattern, with roads heading across the dry countryside toward neighbouring municipalities.
The municipality is known for Caldas do Jorro, a district whose thermal springs have drawn visitors for decades. Warm water rising from the ground amid the dryness of the sertão is one of the things that give Tucano its particular identity.
A Tucano map poster shows the town within its landscape: a cluster of streets around a denser core, main roads crossing through and open land beyond. With no river or coastline to organise the composition, the street pattern itself becomes the subject, drawn in clean, spare lines.

Roads across the sertão
Roads leave town in long lines through the caatinga. They link Tucano with the other towns of northeastern Bahia and with its thermal district.
Caldas do Jorro
The spa district with the thermal springs lies within the municipality as a separate small settlement. It can be mapped in its own right with a custom title.

为什么选 Tucano
一张有意义的地图
Tucano is home to many families across the Bahian sertão, and for others it is the way to the springs of Caldas do Jorro. A map of the town keeps that place close, whether it hangs in Salvador, São Paulo or further away.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be changed, and five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Buy HD files for $9 in six print sizes, or order a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
