关于地图
Velika Gorica Map Poster & Print
Velika Gorica lies just south of Zagreb, on the flat Turopolje plain. On a map it forms a sizeable town with a central core, neighbourhoods of houses and apartment blocks, and main roads connecting it to the capital. The Sava flows to the north, while oak forests and farmland stretch away to the south and east.
The town is home to Zagreb's international airport, named after Franjo Tuđman, whose runway and terminal area appear as a long, clear shape on the map. Velika Gorica is also the traditional centre of the Turopolje region, known for its wooden architecture and its historic community of noble families with their own local institutions.
A Velika Gorica map poster places urban streets against a wide, open landscape. The town's grid-like residential areas sit next to the long straight runway, the Sava curves across the top, and forest areas form quiet dark masses. It is a strong composition for a place between city and countryside.
