Old town lanes
A close network of narrow, irregular streets marks the older centre, where much of the town's handloom weaving has traditionally been done in family homes.

关于地图
Venkatagiri Map Poster & Print
Venkatagiri is in southern Andhra Pradesh, inland from the Bay of Bengal and close to the first low ridges of the Eastern Ghats. From above, the town has a dense older core of narrow lanes, and the streets loosen gradually into newer quarters and farmland along the roads leading out.
The town is best known for its handloom cotton saris, a weaving tradition recognised with a Geographical Indication tag, and for its history as the seat of a former zamindari estate. Much of the weaving happens in homes along ordinary residential streets, so the map of the lanes is also a map of the craft.
A Venkatagiri map poster shows the compact heart of the town and the scattered water tanks and fields around it. Irregular reservoirs appear as soft, rounded shapes against the linework, and a railway line crosses the frame and connects the town to the wider region.

Tanks and reservoirs
Irrigation tanks common in this part of Andhra Pradesh appear as rounded water shapes near the town, breaking up the surrounding fields.
Railway line
A rail line runs across the map, a long straight stroke that contrasts with the dense, organic pattern of the town's streets.
