关于地图
Vicuña Map Poster & Print
Vicuña lies in the Elqui Valley in Chile's Coquimbo Region, inland from the coast at La Serena. The valley is a narrow band of green in an arid landscape, and the town sits within it. From above you see a regular colonial-style grid of blocks around a central plaza, with the Elqui River running alongside.
The valley floor is irrigated for vineyards that produce grapes for pisco, and the cultivated strips follow the river between steep, bare mountain slopes. The clear, dry skies have made the area a centre for astronomy and stargazing observatories. Vicuña is also the birthplace of the Nobel Prize-winning poet Gabriela Mistral.
A Vicuña map poster shows a compact planned town within a strongly defined landscape. The grid is neat and legible, the river provides a flowing line, and the narrowness of the valley gives the composition a clear direction.

为什么选 Vicuña
一张有意义的地图
Vicuña connects poetry, pisco and some of the darkest skies on Earth. A map of it suits travellers who came to see the stars, admirers of Gabriela Mistral, and families from the Elqui Valley.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, then choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir works well for a town known for its night skies.
