关于地图
Wangaratta Map Poster & Print
Wangaratta is a regional city in northeast Victoria, on the Hume Freeway between Melbourne and Albury-Wodonga. From above, it is a clear example of a planned Australian country town. A grid of wide streets surrounds a central commercial area, and newer residential districts extend outward in looser patterns of curving crescents and cul-de-sacs.
The Ovens and King rivers meet at the town, and their floodplains form broad, open corridors of parkland and bush along its edges. On the map, the winding channels contrast sharply with the straight streets. Wangaratta is also known for its annual jazz and blues festival and as a gateway to the wine regions and high country of northeast Victoria.
A Wangaratta map poster pairs the orderly grid with the freer lines of the two rivers. It gives a clear, balanced image of a country town at a river junction. It suits locals, those who grew up there and anyone who has travelled the long road through northeast Victoria.

Town grid
The central streets follow a wide, regular grid typical of Australian country towns. They form a strong, clear block at the heart of the composition.
Hume Freeway
The main highway between Melbourne and Sydney passes near the town. On the map it reads as a long, sweeping line at the edge of the built-up area.

为什么选 Wangaratta
一张有意义的地图
Wangaratta is home for many in northeast Victoria, and a regular stop for others on the way to the high country or the wineries. Its map combines the grid of home with the rivers that shaped it, in a way that feels both local and graphic.
