关于地图
Welisara Map Poster & Print
Welisara is in Gampaha district in Sri Lanka's Western Province, just north of Colombo, near Ragama and Ja-Ela. Its main axis is the Colombo–Negombo road, which runs through the area and carries heavy traffic between the capital and the airport region. Residential lanes branch off it in both directions and fill the land between waterways and low-lying fields.
The area is low and flat, close to the wetlands that border this part of the coast, and canals and marshy ground are never far away. Welisara is also known for its naval base and for a major hospital that serves the wider region, both occupying large, clearly defined sites on the map.
A Welisara map poster brings out the structure of a busy suburban corridor. The main road forms a strong spine, the side lanes create a dense, fine-grained network, and the wetlands and fields provide open spaces. It is a practical, detailed map that people from the area will recognise at once.

Low wetland edges
Canals, marshes and paddy land around the built-up area break up the street network with irregular open spaces and water.
Institutional sites
Large compounds such as the naval base and hospital appear as distinct blocks with their own internal roads, set apart from the residential lanes.
