关于地图
Wolin Map Poster & Print
Wolin is Poland's largest island, lying in the northwest of the country where the waters of the Oder reach the Baltic. The Dziwna strait separates it from the mainland on the east, and the Świna separates it from the neighbouring island of Usedom on the west. Much of its southern coast faces the broad, shallow waters of the Szczecin Lagoon.
The northern coast is a smooth line of Baltic beach, backed in places by high moraine cliffs, with the resort town of Międzyzdroje near its western end. The south is entirely different: a fractured shoreline broken into small islands, reed beds and channels around the Świna delta. Most of the island's centre is forest inside Wolin National Park, so a Wolin map poster is shaped by coastlines more than streets.
The town of Wolin, on the Dziwna in the southeast, was an important early medieval trading centre. It is often linked to the legendary Viking stronghold of Jomsborg and the lost city of Vineta, and it hosts a well-known annual festival of Slavs and Vikings. At the island's western tip, part of Świnoujście reaches across the water from Usedom.

Baltic cliff coast
The northern edge runs in a long, even curve, where moraine cliffs rise above narrow beaches and the forest comes almost to the edge.
Dziwna crossing
The narrow Dziwna strait on the eastern side separates the island from the mainland and is crossed by bridges, including one at the town of Wolin.

为什么选 Wolin
一张有意义的地图
Wolin draws summer visitors to its Baltic beaches, walkers to its national park and people interested in the Viking age to its old town. For families who holiday in Międzyzdroje each year, or anyone with roots in western Pomerania, the island's ragged outline is a familiar shape.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line, using Polish place names if you prefer, and choose among Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files are $9. Matte prints ship from partners in more than 30 countries, with an optional wooden frame.
