关于地图
Yalvaç Map Poster & Print
Yalvaç lies in the lake district of inner Anatolia, in the north of Isparta province, on a plain at the western foot of the Sultan Mountains. From above, the town spreads across gently sloping ground, with a dense old centre, newer districts to the sides and orchards and fields around. The mountains rise to the east, and roads lead out toward the surrounding lake basins.
Just north of the modern town lie the ruins of Antioch of Pisidia, a Hellenistic and Roman city that became an important Roman colony. It is known to Christians as a place visited by the Apostle Paul during his journeys. The excavated site, with its streets, temple and aqueduct remains, sits on a low rise above Yalvaç.
A Yalvaç map poster places the town and its ancient neighbour side by side. The modern streets form an irregular network typical of Anatolian towns, while the archaeological site adds an open, separate area at the edge. Together they show a place that has been inhabited, in one form or another, for more than two thousand years.

Sultan Mountains
To the east the land rises toward the Sultan Mountains, and the orchards and fields at their foot create a pattern of plots and tracks around the town.

为什么选 Yalvaç
一张有意义的地图
Yalvaç draws people interested in early Christian and Roman history, and it is home to many families who have moved to larger cities. A map of the town connects both stories in a single, simple print.
