关于地图
Yichun Map Poster & Print
Yichun in western Jiangxi grew along the Yuan River, which winds eastward through the city on its way to the Gan River. The urban area fills a valley floor between wooded hills, so on the map the streets follow the river and spread outward until the terrain rises and the pattern breaks up into fields and scattered villages.
The city is widely known for lithium: deposits of lithium-bearing mica in the area have made Yichun an important supplier to the battery industry. It is also known for Mingyue Mountain, a scenic range with forests and hot springs to the southwest. It should not be confused with the Yichun in Heilongjiang, a forestry city far to the north.
A Yichun map poster shows a compact, river-centred plan. The Yuan River gives the composition a gentle horizontal flow, bridges mark the points where the two sides of the city meet, and the surrounding hills leave broad, quiet margins. It is an understated map, suited to people who know the city personally rather than from guidebooks.

Valley setting
Hills close in on several sides, so the dense urban area gives way quickly to green slopes, fields and small settlements that frame the centre of the poster.
Toward Mingyue Mountain
To the southwest the land rises toward the high ground of Mingyue Mountain, a scenic area of forests and hot springs well known across the province.
