Făgăraș Map Poster & Print
Făgăraș lies in southern Transylvania, in Brașov County, close to the Olt river. It gave its name to the surrounding Țara Făgărașului and to the Făgăraș Mountains, the highest range of the Romanian Carpathians, whose ridge runs along the southern horizon. On a map the town sits on the flat valley floor between river and mountains, a compact centre with newer districts around it.
The best-known landmark is the Făgăraș Citadel, a large fortress surrounded by a water-filled moat, which shows up on the map as a distinct square enclosure near the centre. Around it the old streets form a loose, irregular pattern, while blocks built in the twentieth century introduce straighter lines and larger footprints toward the edges of town.
A Făgăraș map poster brings together these layers: the geometric outline of the fortress and its moat, the historic streets, the later housing districts and the river to the north. It is a strong choice for anyone who has hiked the Făgăraș ridge, grown up in the town or traced family roots to this corner of Transylvania.

Olt river
The Olt flows just north of the town through a wide valley, adding a long, winding line that separates the built area from the fields beyond.
Old and new districts
Irregular historic streets near the citadel give way to larger, more regular housing blocks toward the edges, so the poster shows the town's growth in a single view.

Warum Făgăraș
Eine Karte mit Bedeutung
Făgăraș is a place people remember through landscape as much as streets: the citadel, the river and the mountain wall to the south. A map of the town suits hikers, former residents and families with Transylvanian roots who want a restrained reminder of the region.
Edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps to mark a summit, a wedding or a year spent in town, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files in six print sizes cost $9 and come without a watermark.
