Palm grove parcels
Around the town, date palm plantations divide the land into many small plots. On the map they form a dense, woven texture that stands apart from the residential streets.

Al Baţţālīyah Map Poster & Print
Al Baţţālīyah is one of the towns of the Al-Ahsa oasis in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, a short drive from Hofuf. From above, the town is defined by what surrounds it. Its built-up core gives way almost immediately to date palm groves, which divide the land into small, closely packed parcels and give the map a fine, textured grain.
Al-Ahsa is among the largest oases in the world and is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site for its long history of palm cultivation and water management. Around Al Baţţālīyah, farm tracks and irrigation lines cross the groves at regular intervals, and larger roads link the town with its neighbouring villages and the cities of the oasis.
An Al Baţţālīyah map poster shows a town and an agricultural landscape that have grown around each other. The residential blocks are compact and orderly, while the groves beyond them are dense and green in real life and rendered as a quiet, intricate pattern in print.

Oasis road network
Main roads connect Al Baţţālīyah with the other towns of Al-Ahsa. They run as clear lines across the agricultural land and join into a wider regional grid.
Compact town core
The residential centre is tightly organised, with blocks set close together. Its crisp edges contrast with the looser farmland that surrounds it.

For families from Al-Ahsa, the oasis is more than an address. It is palm harvests, relatives nearby and a landscape shaped over generations. A map of Al Baţţālīyah brings that place into a home or office wherever the family now lives.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, whether with a family name, a year or the name of the oasis. Sand and Paper suit the palm country, and Noir and Blueprint give it a sharper look. Downloads include six print sizes.
