Al Fūlah Map Poster & Print
Al Fūlah lies in the Kordofan region of central Sudan, on flat, semi-arid land between the savanna to the south and the drier north. It serves as an administrative centre for the surrounding area. From above, the town appears as a spread of low-rise blocks and walled compounds, laid out loosely across the plain.
The landscape around it is shaped by seasonal rain. Dry watercourses that fill during the wet season cross the area and appear on the map as faint, winding lines, while tracks radiate from the town toward villages and farms in the surrounding countryside.
The region has become known for oil production, and roads and service routes connect the town to fields elsewhere in Kordofan. An Al Fūlah map poster records the town's simple, open layout, a place where the edge of the built-up area fades gradually into the plain.

Radiating tracks
Roads and tracks lead out from the town in several directions, linking it with the villages, farms and oil areas of the wider region.
