Andada is in Gujarat's Bharuch district, on the flat alluvial land south of the Narmada River, close to Ankleshwar. It is a place where an older settlement pattern and newer growth sit side by side, and the map shows both at once.
The older part of town is a close, irregular web of lanes. Around it, straighter roads and larger rectangular plots show more recent expansion, much of it tied to the industrial development this part of Gujarat is known for. Fields and open land fill the space between the built-up areas.
