Former Alfa Romeo site
The old car works cover a very large area next to the town. Their long straight roads and huge plots make the boldest geometric shape on the map.

Arese Map Poster & Print
Arese is a comune in the metropolitan area of Milan, northwest of the city in the flat Lombard plain. On a map it looks like a small old centre surrounded by residential neighbourhoods. Motorways and major roads run along its edges, and there are pockets of green space and farmland between Arese and its neighbours.
The biggest shape on the map of Arese is the former Alfa Romeo factory, which once covered a very large area on the edge of town. Part of the site is now the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum. Another large part has become a big shopping centre. The rest is still being redeveloped. On the map, the old industrial grounds form a wide rectangular zone that dwarfs the residential streets beside it.
An Arese map poster captures the contrast between the fine street pattern of a Lombard town and the scale of twentieth-century industry. It suits families from the area, former Alfa Romeo workers, and car enthusiasts who know the name from the museum.

Historic centre
The older part of Arese is small and irregular. Its short streets form a tight cluster in the middle of the frame, surrounded by more recent housing.
Lombard plain
Flat land surrounds the town, crossed by motorways and dotted with green areas. The major roads frame Arese and link it to Milan and nearby towns.

Arese means different things to different people: a hometown, a place where many families once worked at the factory, or the home of a famous car museum. A map of it covers all of those.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a year or a family name. Choose one of five styles, including Noir and Blueprint. It comes as a $9 print-ready download or as a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
