Marina and bay
The harbour walls and pontoons of the large marina form sharp, geometric lines. They stand out against the open water of the bay.

Bangor Map Poster & Print
Bangor sits on the north coast of County Down, facing Belfast Lough. The coastline shapes its map. The town centre curves around a sheltered bay with one of the largest marinas in Ireland, while coastal paths and smaller inlets stretch east and west along the shore.
The town has an old monastic history. Bangor Abbey was founded by Saint Comgall in the sixth century and became one of the most important centres of learning in early medieval Europe. More recently, Bangor was granted city status in 2022. Inland, residential streets climb gently away from the water in curving rows and loops.
A Bangor map poster contrasts the pale shape of Belfast Lough with the town's dense coastal core. You can see the harbour walls and the marina's angular piers. Suburban roads spread across the rising ground behind them.

Coastal edge
The shoreline curves in a series of small bays and headlands. It makes an intricate border along the top of the map.
Abbey quarter
Bangor Abbey lies just inland from the centre, on one of the town's oldest sites. Older streets gather around it.

Bangor means seafront walks, boats in the marina and long summer evenings on the lough. A poster of its coast and streets is a calm reminder of home, or of holidays by the water.
You can add your own title, subtitle and coordinates, and choose from five styles. Blueprint and Noir both make the coastline particularly striking. Order a printed poster, or download the HD files for $9.
