Bannūr Map Poster & Print
Bannūr lies in Mysuru district, Karnataka, east of the city of Mysuru, in the fertile farmland of the Kaveri basin. The town has a dense centre of narrow streets and small blocks, with the main roads leading out toward Mysuru and neighbouring towns. Newer residential areas spread along those roads in a looser, more regular pattern.
The land around Bannūr is largely irrigated, with fields of sugarcane and paddy divided by channels and embankments. Tanks, the traditional reservoirs of the region, appear as rounded bodies of water among the fields. On the map this produces a varied texture of fine field lines, soft water shapes and the dense knot of the town at the centre.
A Bannūr map poster suits people who know the town from its markets and temple streets, or who have family roots in this part of Karnataka. A wider frame shows how the town sits within its agricultural landscape. The Paper and Classic styles bring out the detail of both streets and fields.

Village tanks
