Dense old lanes
The centre of town is a tight web of narrow, irregular lanes, the kind of street pattern that grows over generations instead of being planned.

Bāonlī Map Poster & Print
Bāonlī is a town in eastern Rajasthan, in the Sawai Madhopur area. The countryside around it is mostly flat and dry, with farmland, seasonal watercourses and low rises. On a map the town is a dense cluster of lanes at the centre, surrounded by fields and a few roads leading to neighbouring villages and towns.
The street pattern is typical of older north Indian market towns. There is no rigid grid. Lanes twist and narrow between tightly packed houses, and a main road carries most of the through traffic. The Ranthambore landscape, known for its tiger reserve, lies in the same district to the south.
A Bāonlī map poster shows the contrast between a close-knit centre and wide open land. The inner lanes form a fine, intricate texture, while the surrounding plain is almost empty. That balance makes a small town look detailed and considered on paper, especially in a simple black-and-white style.

Radiating roads
A handful of roads lead out of Bāonlī toward nearby villages and towns, spreading across the plain like spokes from the compact core.
Open plains
Farmland and dry ground surround the town on all sides, leaving wide empty space on the poster that frames the built-up area.

For families from Bāonlī who now live in Jaipur, Delhi or further away, this map is a reminder of a home town. The lanes are recognisable, and a particular house or market street can be traced by eye.
Change the title to a family name, add a date or a line in Hindi or English as the subtitle, and choose a style: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper and Sand suit the dry plain.
