Workers' colonies
Housing built for mine employees forms neat rows of similar blocks, a regular pattern that contrasts sharply with the older, irregular streets of the market area.

Bellampalli Map Poster & Print
Bellampalli is a town in Mancherial district in northern Telangana, built largely around coal mining. The Singareni Collieries Company has operated mines in the area for decades, and the town grew as a set of workers' colonies, markets and service areas around the pits. From above, that history shows in a pattern of separate clusters connected by roads rather than a single continuous centre.
The land around the town is hilly and partly forested, part of the wider Godavari coal belt. Open-cast mines and spoil heaps appear on the map as large irregular spaces without streets, while railway lines and sidings cut across the area. Residential colonies laid out for mine workers stand out through their regular, repetitive blocks.
The mix of industrial land, planned housing and natural terrain makes a map of Bellampalli unusually varied for a town of its size. A Bellampalli map poster turns that combination into a clear monochrome composition, where the open ground of the mines is as much part of the picture as the streets. It is an honest portrait of a working town.

Mining areas
Open-cast pits and heaps appear as broad, empty shapes at the edges of the town, giving the map unusual blank spaces and strong outlines.
Railway line
The main line through Bellampalli station crosses the town in a long stroke, joined by sidings that serve the collieries in the surrounding area.

Many families in Bellampalli have worked in the mines for generations, and many have since moved to Hyderabad or abroad. A map of the town keeps its colonies, market and hills together in one frame, a quiet tribute to a place built by work.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name or the year someone started at the mine. Choose one of five styles, preview it free at 900 px, then download the HD files for $9 or order a print.
