Bhadra River
The river runs straight through the town, splitting it into two parts joined by bridges, and gives the map a strong central line of water.

Bhadrāvati Map Poster & Print
Bhadrāvati lies in the Shivamogga district of Karnataka, on the Bhadra River as it flows north toward its meeting with the Tunga. The river divides the town, and from above it runs as a clear band with bridges linking the two banks. On either side, older market streets sit near the water, while planned residential layouts spread across the flatter ground farther out.
The town is known for its industry. The Visvesvaraya Iron and Steel Plant, founded in the early twentieth century under the princely state of Mysore, and a large paper mill made Bhadrāvati a factory town, and their sites still take up large blocks on the map. Around them, townships with regular streets and workers' quarters were built.
A Bhadrāvati map poster makes these layers visible. The river curves through the middle, the industrial compounds appear as large open parcels, and the township grids show the careful planning of a company town, while the old centre keeps its denser, less regular pattern. It is a working town, drawn plainly and with care.

Steelworks site
The historic iron and steel plant occupies a large block beside the town. On the poster it shows as a broad parcel with far fewer streets than the neighbourhoods around it.
Township layouts
Planned residential areas built for plant and mill workers stand out through their regular streets and even block sizes, in clear contrast to the older centre.

Families with ties to the steel plant or the paper mill often feel strongly about Bhadrāvati, and this map records the town as they knew it. The mix of river, industry and planned streets makes a quietly detailed picture.
