Miedzianka valley
The town follows this stream in a long ribbon of streets. Its slender shape gives the poster a strong vertical composition.

Bogatynia Map Poster & Print
Bogatynia lies in the Turoszów pocket, a narrow strip of Polish territory that reaches between Germany and the Czech Republic. The town follows the valley of the Miedzianka stream in a long, thin line. On a map its outline stretches for several kilometers but is only a few streets wide.
Just north of the town is the Turów lignite mine, one of the largest open-pit mines in Poland, with its power station beside it. On a map it appears as a huge area with no streets, edged by service roads. Few towns of this size sit next to an industrial landscape on such a scale.
Bogatynia is also known for its Upper Lusatian houses, timber buildings with a distinctive frame supporting the upper floor. A Bogatynia map poster captures the town's unusual geography: a narrow valley settlement, two national borders close by and a vast industrial landscape at its edge.

Turów mine
The huge open-pit lignite mine to the north appears as a wide area without streets. It forms a striking empty shape beside the dense lines of the town.
Border setting
The German and Czech borders lie close by. A wider frame shows the town inside a narrow strip of Polish land between the two neighboring countries.

This map is for people who grew up in Bogatynia or worked at the mine and power station, and for anyone interested in border regions. The long valley shape and the empty space of the mine make an unusual, striking composition.
Personalize the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a street, a year or a family name. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download print-ready PDFs and 300 DPI PNGs, or order a finished poster, with a wooden frame if you prefer.
