Bondo lies in Siaya County in western Kenya, a short distance from the northern shores of Lake Victoria. On the map the town is a loose, low-density network of roads rather than a tight grid. A few main routes carry most of the traffic, and smaller tracks link homesteads scattered across the gently rolling land.
Water sets the tone of the wider view.
