Caeté river
The river swings past the town in a wide curve, its broad surface setting the edge of the map and separating the streets from the forested far bank.

Bragança Map Poster & Print
Bragança lies in north-eastern Pará, on the Caeté river a short distance upstream from where it opens into the Atlantic. The town's streets follow a regular grid near the waterfront and spread inland across low ground, while the river side of the map is dominated by the mangrove forests that line the estuary and the coast beyond.
It is one of the oldest settlements in Pará, dating to the early seventeenth century, and was once the terminus of the Belém–Bragança railway that opened the region to settlement before closing in the 1960s. The town is known for the Marujada, a festival honouring Saint Benedict held each December, with music, dance and costumes rooted in local tradition.
A Bragança map poster places the town on the edge of a vast wetland. The grid meets the river's broad curve, creeks thread through the mangroves, and a long road runs out across the tidal flats toward the beach at Ajuruteua. It is a spare, horizontal image of a place shaped equally by land and water.

Mangrove coast
Beyond the town, dense mangroves line the estuary, broken by winding tidal channels that give the lower part of the map a fine, irregular texture.
Road to Ajuruteua
A single road leaves town and crosses the mangroves toward the Atlantic beach at Ajuruteua, a long line through otherwise open wetland.
