Bremerton Map Poster & Print
Bremerton sits on the Kitsap Peninsula, across Puget Sound from Seattle, and its map is shaped by water on almost every side. Sinclair Inlet runs along the south, Dyes Inlet opens to the northwest, and the narrow tidal channel of Port Washington Narrows divides the city into two halves, joined by bridges that stand out as short, bold lines.
The city grew around the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, founded in the 1890s, which still occupies a large stretch of the southern waterfront with its dry docks and piers. Ferries link downtown Bremerton directly to Seattle, and the retired destroyer USS Turner Joy is moored near the terminal as a museum ship.
A Bremerton map poster is defined by edges. The shipyard adds long, angular shapes along the inlet, the older downtown streets form a compact grid near the ferry landing, and residential areas climb onto the forested land to the north and west. Between them, the narrows and inlets give the composition its distinctive, interlocking outline.

Dry docks and piers of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard line Sinclair Inlet, forming large geometric shapes along the southern waterfront.
Ferry to Seattle
The downtown terminal marks the start of the ferry route across Puget Sound, placing the city's compact grid right at the water's edge.

Bremerton means a lot to people with ties to the Navy, to shipyard families, and to commuters who know the ferry crossing by heart. The water-framed map is one of the more graphic in the Puget Sound region and reads well from across a room.
Mark a posting date, a ship or a family name in the title and subtitle, and choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters come on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame.
