Brunswick is a city in Medina County, Ohio, south of Cleveland. Its map shows the familiar pattern of postwar American suburban growth: an underlying grid of straight township roads, filled in with subdivisions of curving streets, loops and cul-de-sacs, along with schools, parks and shopping strips.
Brunswick grew quickly during the second half of the twentieth century as the Cleveland area spread outward, and it is now one of the larger cities in Medina County. Interstate 71 passes nearby, linking it with Cleveland to the north and Columbus to the south.
