Bungu Map Poster & Print
Bungu is a settlement in Tanzania's Pwani region, the coastal belt south of Dar es Salaam. The map here is loose and open rather than dense. A main road links the area to the wider region, and a network of smaller tracks and footpaths branches off it toward homesteads and farms.
Around the settlement, the land is a mix of cultivated plots, bush and woodland typical of the coastal hinterland. Houses cluster near the roads and thin out into the countryside, so the built area has soft, irregular edges instead of a clear boundary.
A Bungu map poster captures a kind of place that rarely appears on wall art: a rural East African community whose shape comes from roads, paths and fields. In black and white, the fine tracks look almost like a drawing of the land itself.

Branching tracks
Narrow roads and footpaths spread from the main route to homes and fields, forming a fine, irregular network across the landscape.
Coastal hinterland
Farmland, bush and woodland surround the settlement. These open spaces give the poster a spacious, airy look.
