Rail corridor
The Luanda railway passes through town on its way to Malanje. Its long, gently curving line is the backbone of the map and the reason the settlement grew here.

Cacuso Map Poster & Print
Cacuso sits in Angola's Malanje province, along the main road and railway running inland from Luanda toward the city of Malanje. On a map, the town is compact and linear. Its streets gather along the transport corridor, and short side roads branch into the surrounding savanna. Beyond the edge of town, there is little but tracks, streams and open country.
The municipality is known for two landscapes on very different scales. To the south, the dark granite towers of Pungo Andongo rise sharply out of the plain, a site tied to the history of the Ndongo kingdom. The Kwanza River runs through the wider area and is dammed at Capanda, a major source of Angola's hydroelectric power.
A Cacuso map poster works best as a portrait of a crossroads. It shows the rail and road lines running through, the small grid of the town itself, and the thin lines of rural tracks fading out into the plateau.

Compact centre
The town's streets form a small, tight block along the main road. On a poster it looks like a dense knot set against a wide, open background.
Savanna tracks
Unpaved roads and paths radiate outward to villages and farms. They thin into faint lines that give a sense of the space around the town.

For Angolans from Malanje province, and for people who have worked or travelled on the Luanda–Malanje line, this map marks a specific stop in a large country. The title and subtitle can carry a name, a date or a short phrase in Portuguese or Kimbundu.
Sand and Paper suit the savanna setting, and Blueprint emphasises the rail line. Classic black & white and Noir keep the small grid sharp. Printed posters can be framed in wood and shipped by print partners in more than thirty countries.
