Centralia Map Poster & Print
Centralia is in Lewis County in southwestern Washington, roughly midway between Seattle and Portland. That position gave the town its name. On the map, the Chehalis River and the Skookumchuck River curve around and through the town, and a regular downtown grid sits beside the railroad tracks. Interstate 5 runs along the western side.
The town was founded in 1875 by George Washington, a Black pioneer who had settled on the land and later platted the town. The railroad shaped its growth, and the tracks still cut through the centre. Around them, the historic downtown is a compact grid of brick blocks, and residential streets spread out toward the rivers and low hills.
Centralia College, founded in 1925, is the oldest continuously operating community college in Washington. The Centralia map poster brings together rivers, rail and interstate in a small area. It makes a well-balanced composition, with natural curves on one side and engineered lines on the other.

Railroad downtown
The historic downtown grid lines up with the railroad tracks. It forms a compact rectangle at the centre of the composition.
Interstate edge
I-5 runs past the western side of town. It is a long, smooth line that sets Centralia's position on the Seattle–Portland corridor.

Centralia is a place many people pass through on I-5, but for those who live there, it is home: downtown, the college and the rivers. A map is a clear reminder, especially for anyone who has moved away.
Add a family name, a graduation year or a date to the title and subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line. Five styles are available. Blueprint suits the rail grid, and Noir brings out the winding rivers.
