Cerqueira César Map Poster & Print
Cerqueira César is a municipality in the interior of São Paulo state, well west of the state capital, and should not be confused with the São Paulo city neighbourhood of the same name. On the map it is a compact grid of streets surrounded by farmland, with a few main roads leading out across the gently rolling plateau toward the neighbouring towns of the region.
Like many towns in the interior, it follows a regular plan: near-square blocks, straight streets and a central square, all extending evenly toward the edges. Beyond the last blocks the pattern breaks up into field boundaries, country roads and the thin lines of streams winding through the farmland. The line between town and countryside is unusually clear.
The local economy rests on agriculture, and the town serves as a service and trading centre for the surrounding rural area. A Cerqueira César map poster shows that simple structure clearly: a neat, sharply bounded urban core with open countryside on every side. The whole place can be taken in at a glance.

Roads to the region
A few main roads leave town in different directions. They are the boldest lines on the map and the links to the other towns of the São Paulo interior.
Rural edge
Where the grid ends, the poster switches to the looser lines of farm tracks and streams, a clear boundary between the built-up town and the fields.

For anyone who grew up in Cerqueira César or still has family there, a map of the town is a simple, personal object. The grid is easy to read, so it is easy to point out a house, a school or the street where everything started.
Put a family name, a date or a short phrase in the title and subtitle, and set the coordinates line as you like. There are five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand. The HD files cost $9. Printed posters on matte paper can be ordered with a wooden frame.
