Canal lines
Irrigation channels cross the surrounding land in long strokes, often lined by roads and rows of trees. They are the most distinctive lines on the map and trace how water reaches every field.

Chelak Map Poster & Print
Chelak lies in Samarqand Region of Uzbekistan, north of Samarkand, in the broad agricultural lowland shaped by the Zarafshan River and the irrigation systems it feeds. The town serves as a local centre for the surrounding farmland, and its map shows that role clearly. There is a modest core of streets and courtyards, and all around it a patchwork of fields, gardens and water channels reaches toward the neighbouring villages.
Irrigation is the key to the picture. Canals and ditches run in long lines across the land, sometimes straight and sometimes following old field boundaries, and roads often run next to them. Inside the town, residential blocks with enclosed yards form small, even cells, while the main streets are wider and connect Chelak to the rest of the valley.
A Chelak map poster turns this working landscape into something graphic. In monochrome, the network of canals and roads looks almost like fine linework on an engraving, and the town's denser blocks give the eye a place to rest. It is an understated image of a Central Asian farming town, made by water as much as by building.

Courtyard blocks
Residential streets form compact blocks of houses built around private yards. On the poster they read as a tidy, cellular pattern that differs clearly from the open fields outside.
Valley connections
Main roads leave Chelak toward Samarkand and nearby district towns, so the poster shows the town as one link in the dense farming network of the Zarafshan valley.

For anyone with roots in Samarqand Region, this is a way to keep the family town close: the streets walked to school, the canal roads, the edge of the orchards. It also makes a thoughtful gift for relatives who have moved far away.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line. You could write the name in Uzbek or Russian, for example, or add a year. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a $9 digital file or a printed poster shipped from a local print partner.
