Collipulli Map Poster & Print
Collipulli is a town in the Araucanía region of southern Chile, on a plateau beside the deep valley of the Malleco River. On the map the town has a regular grid of streets, laid out in the late nineteenth century, and the ravine cuts sharply along its edge. Chile's main north–south highway runs close by.
The town's defining landmark is the Malleco Viaduct, a steel railway bridge completed in 1890 that crosses the ravine at a great height. When it opened it was among the tallest railway bridges in the world, and it remains a national monument and a notable piece of Chilean engineering history.
A Collipulli map poster is built on two clear elements: the orderly grid of the town and the winding line of the river below. The viaduct joins them with a single, straight stroke across the valley. Around them, farmland and forest plantations spread across the rolling land of the Araucanía.

Town grid
The streets form a regular pattern of square blocks on the plateau. They give the town a neat, planned appearance above the valley.
Malleco ravine
The river winds through a deep valley along the edge of town. Its curving course contrasts strongly with the straight lines of the grid.

For people from Collipulli and the Araucanía, and for travellers who have stopped to look at the viaduct, this map captures the town's simple, memorable shape. It works well for railway enthusiasts as well as for families from the south of Chile.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised, perhaps with a family name or a date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the engineering character of the viaduct especially well.
