Daik-u Map Poster & Print
Daik-u lies in the low, open country of Bago Region, north of the city of Bago. The land here is flat and intensively farmed, and on a map the town appears as a clear cluster of streets within a wide field of paddy boundaries, irrigation channels and small village roads. Few places show so plainly how settlement follows the routes that pass through it.
The town sits on the long corridor linking Yangon with central Myanmar, and both the highway and the railway pass close by. Much of the built area tends to follow these lines rather than spreading evenly, which gives the drawing a directional grain. Shorter lanes branch off toward the fields on either side and fade into the farmland.
A Daik-u map poster is a spare image: a few firm lines of road and rail, the soft patchwork of cultivated land and the town at their meeting point. It will mean most to people who grew up there or passed through on the way north, yet it holds together as a composition even for those who never have.

Town centre
A compact knot of streets forms the densest part of the image, with lighter residential lanes loosening gradually toward the fields on each side.
Farmland patchwork
Paddy fields, channels and field tracks surround the town, rendered as fine, irregular lines that give the flat plain texture and depth.

For people from Daik-u, or whose families trace back to the Bago plain, a map of the town is a quiet reminder of home. Its clean lines and open fields hold up well on a wall and need no caption to feel familiar.
You can write your own title and subtitle, keep or change the coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A free 900 px preview lets you check the design before buying the $9 files or a printed poster.
