Industrial sites
Large industrial compounds sit close to the town. On the poster they appear as broad geometric blocks, clearly distinct from the tight residential streets.

Daud Khel Map Poster & Print
Daud Khel lies in Mianwali district in the north-west of Pakistan's Punjab, close to the Indus river. This is dry, open country near the western end of the Salt Range. From above, the town is a small, compact cluster of streets, with industrial sites and transport lines spread across the surrounding land.
The area is known for its industry. Cement and chemical plants were established here because of the local raw materials and the location near the river. On the map, their large compounds and the rail sidings serving them form big, simple shapes beside the town.
A Daud Khel map poster shows these different elements together: the dense residential centre, the railway, the industrial blocks and the wide, sparsely settled land around them. The Indus and its broad floodplain lie within reach at the edge of the wider view.

Near the Indus
The Indus flows not far from town. At wider framings its broad channel and sandbanks bring a powerful natural line to the composition.
Rail connections
Railway lines and sidings serve the town and its plants. They cross the map in long strokes that link Daud Khel to the wider network of the region.
