Deqing is a county in Huzhou, in northern Zhejiang, between Hangzhou and Lake Tai. Its map is split between two very different landscapes. To the east lies the flat, water-rich plain typical of the Yangtze delta, crossed by canals, rivers and ponds. To the west the land rises into the hills around Moganshan.
