Don Carlos is a town in the province of Bukidnon, on the high interior plateau of Mindanao. From above, the town centre is a modest network of streets along the national highway. Around it, rural roads run out into wide agricultural land that fills most of the municipality.
Bukidnon is known for its elevation and its farms, and Don Carlos is typical of the province. Sugarcane, corn and other crops cover the surrounding land, and the town serves as a local centre for trade and services.
