Dschang Map Poster & Print
Dschang lies at around 1,400 metres in the highlands of western Cameroon, in the heart of Bamiléké country. The terrain is hilly and green. From above, the town's streets curve with the slopes instead of forming a grid, and neighbourhoods spread over the ridges and down into the valleys between them.
Its cool climate drew the colonial administration, which developed Dschang as a climatic station. It later became a university town, and the University of Dschang is one of the country's main institutions, known especially for agriculture. The artificial Lake Dschang lies close to the centre and forms a clear, calm shape in the middle of the map.
A Dschang map poster captures a combination that is unusual for a Cameroonian town: a compact lake, winding upland roads, a large campus and dense residential hills, all in one frame. Beside the lake, the Museum of Civilisations presents the many cultures of Cameroon, one reason the town is known well beyond its region.

Hillside streets
Roads bend around the slopes and follow ridgelines, so the street network looks organic and loose. It is very different from the regular grids of lowland towns.
University campus
The University of Dschang occupies its own part of town. Its internal roads and buildings form a distinct district on the map.

Many Cameroonians pass through Dschang as students or come back to it as home. A map of the town holds the lecture halls, the markets, the lake walk and the family compounds in a single set of lines.
Add a graduation year, a family name or a short phrase to the title and subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line. Five styles, from Noir to Paper, are available as $9 digital files or as a printed poster shipped from partners in 30+ countries.
