Flat island ground
With no hills to steer them, the roads on this side of Djerba spread in gentle curves and straight links between settlements, leaving wide open spaces between them.

El Mgarsa Map Poster & Print
El Mgarsa lies on the eastern side of Djerba, the large, flat island off southern Tunisia in the Gulf of Gabès. The island has almost no hills, so its roads spread freely across the land. On the map they show a loose pattern of houses, lanes and walled plots rather than a tight urban grid. The sea is never far away in any direction.
Djerba is known for its whitewashed houses and olive groves, and for a long history of trade and fishing along its coast. The eastern shore is where most of the island's beaches and hotels are. On the map, the settled inland areas give way to a smooth coastline and a strip of resort roads that runs roughly parallel to the water.
An El Mgarsa map poster captures this looser kind of town. The streets are spaced out, there are open patches between building clusters, and a few main roads link the settlements across the island. In black and white the pattern looks almost like a sketch, and much of the paper stays open.

Eastern coastline
The island's eastern shore is smooth and even. A coastal road and resort streets run alongside it, marking a clear edge where the land meets the sea.
Dispersed settlement
Houses and farm plots sit in scattered clusters rather than one dense core. The result is a light, open street pattern that looks unlike most mainland towns.

For people from Djerba, or visitors who spent time on its eastern shore, this map is a quiet reminder of the island's flat, open layout and the sea beyond it. It suits a hallway, a bedroom or a small study.
You can set your own title and subtitle, and mark exact coordinates on the poster. Sand and Paper match the island's pale tones, while Noir and Blueprint give the sparse street pattern stronger contrast. Classic black & white is the fifth option.
