Market-garden lowlands
To the north, vegetable fields and plots divided by small channels form a fine, rectangular pattern distinct from the residential areas.

Eysines Map Poster & Print
Eysines lies on the north-western edge of the Bordeaux metropolitan area, where the city's suburbs meet flatter, wetter countryside. Its map shows two distinct faces. The southern and eastern parts are filled with residential streets, curving estate roads and small commercial zones, while the northern side opens into cultivated land and lowlands threaded by streams and drainage channels.
That open northern area is tied to the Jalle, a small river system that runs toward the Garonne, and to the market-gardening tradition that has long supplied Bordeaux with vegetables. An Eysines map poster contrasts the dense suburban texture with this landscape of fields, water lines and narrow tracks, making it far more varied than a typical commuter suburb.
Eysines is connected to central Bordeaux by tram and by the ring road, which passes nearby, and many residents work in the city. Yet the map still reads as a place with its own character, where housing gives way to green, agricultural land within a very short distance.

The Jalle waterways
Streams and drainage lines wind through the lowlands toward the Garonne, adding thin, flowing lines to the map's northern half.
Suburban street loops
In the residential areas, curving estate roads and cul-de-sacs create a soft, looping texture typical of French suburban growth.
