Goniāna Mandi Map Poster & Print
Goniāna Mandi is a town in Bathinda district, in the Malwa region of southern Punjab. As the word mandi suggests, it grew as an agricultural market town serving the wheat and rice fields around it. From above, the land is almost completely flat, and it is divided into large rectangular fields crossed by straight roads and irrigation channels.
The town itself forms a compact cluster of streets, with market areas, lanes of houses and the railway line running through the plain. Main roads leave in several directions toward Bathinda and neighbouring towns. At the edges, the dense grid gives way immediately to farmland, which gives the map a clear, contained shape.
A Goniāna Mandi map poster reflects the agricultural heart of Punjab, where the rhythm of harvests and markets shapes daily life. It suits families from the town and the surrounding villages, including the many Punjabis now living in Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia who want the home town on their wall.

Field geometry
Large rectangular plots, canals and straight farm roads surround the town. From above they form a calm, regular pattern typical of the Malwa plain.
